I am running Grangemouth Shuttle about quarter of the way through and when i make a save it crashes i have had this before on other Routes is it to do with making a mistake or running late?????

Hi Art,
You might have done to many saves go to your train simulator folder open it and you will find a folder called saves, delete the SCP+ saves in it,then retry the activity again.

Hi Art,
You reported exactly the same problem in July 2012!! http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic.php?f=238&t=126472&hilit=grangemouth#p1573440

At the time, we couldn't reproduce your problem and it was left unsolved Sad  You were awaiting a new graphics card, to see if that cured it, but you didn't report back.

Cheers,
Ged

Hi Art and everyone,
Which route and file ID is this? I'll see if I have the route and will have a go at it to try and shine some light on it for you!
Cheers

Hi Andy

It's SCP+ The CD\DVD Version, and the activity is one of the activities that came with the dvd,we have already gone through this with Art on UKTS, a couple of months ago.

Hi all,
Well it doesn't look like I can help with this route as I haven't bought it because I tend to go for Southern routes and locos. The only thing I can add is has Art checked the route through Route-Riter?
Cheers

HI Art,
Another 3 questions

1) did you get a new graphic card?

2) run it again this time with fewer saves if still fails, then try question 3

3) try and run it with out any saves and see if it works ok,shame you cant slow down MSTS like you can with some signal sims.

It is a quite resource heavy route,so it fails to reload.

SCP Act Problem

Post  abclare on Wed 06 Nov 2013, 4:34 pm

Hi Again.

The poroblem must be as i was runnng quite late as i am now at Grangemouth Station which is over half  way with no saves untill now and it has not crashed this time, so i am sure that this is what happens when i am running very late????? Do you all agree????

Hi Art,

That could quite possibly your problem a lot of activities these days are time critical, you have to d some pretty tight running, and some nippy shunting.
