Mini Route Making

Post  neanderthal on Mon 21 Apr 2014, 8:59 am

Hello all, just back from my Holidays and am "Wondering"just how easy is it to make said Mini routes. The reason I ask is that I'd like to make Thames - Mersey into one,but am the Pits on a PC.
I do not have access to RR as it refuses to go onto my PC (which is more than likely lucky, that way I can't mess the system up),it appears to think I do not have Java,Though when I run the Java test that says I have the latest version installed.
Any help would be appreciated, though I do have doubts about whether I could follow the instructions properly. Very Happy

Hi Roger,
Regarding Route Riter - it needs the 32-bit version of Java to be installed, even if you are running a 64-bit Operating System Smile

If you do manage to get Route-Riter working, there's a tutorial here : http://msts.steam4me.net/Route_Riter/rr_mini_route.html
There is also Otto's tutorial, which doesn't use R-R, here : http://www.trainsim.com/vbts/content.php?35-How-ToCreate-Mini-Routes-The-Easy-Way

Cheers,
Ged

Hello Ged,thanks for that, but having looked through both options I've chickened out.as I've just about finished ME+ now I  will just go back to running it through Train Store until DC comes out. Embarassed
