E-Cigarettes

Post  Markh5682 on Wed 06 Feb 2013, 1:34 pm

I have been (half heartedly to be honest) trying to give up smoking for a while.

A friend of mine has been using the E-Ciggies for a while now, and has not smoked normal fags since, so I ordered some to give it a go, I have just tried it for the first time and it was better than I thought it would be Very Happy

Fortunately I took his advice on which one to go for and avoided an expensive mistake.

Has anyone else here tried them?

They do make a good alternative to smoking normal cigarettes but without all the harmful effects Very Happy

I've got one in front of me now.

Have to say I'm still smocking the normal cancer sticks.
I;ll have to sum up the will power to give it a proper test

Trouble is I wake up and look out the window at the terrible weather and use up my will power getting out of bed.

It's an E-lite from Morrisons.

E-Cigarettes

Post  Guest on Wed 06 Feb 2013, 7:39 pm

Well I first tried these last November and the number of cancer sticks has been reducing to less than 1 pack of twenty a week which is one hell of a moneytary saving. Even more cheering is less money is going to the part time chancellor. So yes they have worked to a large extent for me

Cheers

It's interesting to see peoples differing experience with them Smile

I bought an Ego-t system, the initial outlay is more to get started, but it uses the much cheaper E-Liquid, so it should work out a lot cheaper in the long run.

I used up that last bit of tobacco yesterday, so now smoking the E-cigs all the time, seem to be getting on well with them, no craving for normal baccy. Smile

I have ego-t batteries but use carts instead of the tanks that came supplied as they always leaked on me, was smoking 40-50 a day and now use 100 ml of juice a month saving me 400 quid, been using it since October nicest thing is no smell and no ash trays lol

Hi Steve.

I had a leakage problem with the supplied Ego tanks too, I bought a couple of CE5 clearomizers with the ego-t fitting, I have only been using it for the last couple of days but I'm impressed so far, no sign of leakage as yet, and a larger capacity means you're not continually refilling it all the time. Very Happy

Hi Mark

Do you have a link for the tanks you use, always nice to get a product that someone has tried and had no issues with

Many thanks

Steve

Hi Steve.

These are the ones I ordered, as I said I have only just started using them so have no idea of the longevity of them, but others rate them, they are a good price too from here.

Over 18 months now since I had my last fag, got a few new toys since I last posted in here.

Some of the nice shiny E-cigs from I got from china (a fraction of the price than buying exactly the same thing here)...............

I am now using rebuild-able atomizers, which are much better than the little plastic CE5 tanks I mentioned in a previous post, for these you need a little knowledge of electronics and coil building, but you can tailor them to suit your own preferences, it's much more fun than just lighting up a fag...........
