Thanks for sharing Ben OK

I keep promising myself a trip to a steam/preserved railway at some point, but have never got round to it, I think the ELR is the closest to here, it's on my bucket list.

Agreed Ben.
I was in the Grosmont/Goathland area on Saturday, A very good Gala indeed, Pity 1501 was confined to Grosmont with a broken spring.
A very enjoyable day indeed.
Cheers
Andy.

Hi Ben/Mark.
I was staying with my friends at Southport, for the local air show the previous weekend, so it was rather short notice, also I was not initially aware that there was a steam gala
or indeed a great western themed gala, but nice to see the Castle. 2807, 63395, Lambton 29, two black fives and of course Sir Nigel working.
From Southport it is roughly a three hour drive each way.
Cheers
Andy
